This Privacy Policy describes how HabBarGains ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the HabBarGains mobile application (the "App"). By using the App, you agree to the practices described below.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly, including:

• Account information: email address, name, and authentication credentials when you sign up or sign in (including via Apple Sign-In or Google Sign-In).
• Fitness profile: age, gender, height, weight, training experience, goals, equipment access, injuries, dietary preferences, and other information you provide during the assessment.
• Training data: generated programs, workout logs, completed exercises, weights lifted, and notes you add during sessions.
• Payment information: if you make a purchase in the App, payment details are processed directly by Stripe. We do not store card numbers.

We also collect information automatically when you use the App:

• Device information (model, OS version, app version).
• Diagnostic information to help us fix bugs and improve performance.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Generate personalized training programs based on your profile.
• Provide AI coaching responses tailored to your goals and progress.
• Track your workouts and progress over time.
• Process payments for products you purchase.
• Send you notifications relevant to your training (only with your permission).
• Improve the App's features, performance, and security.

3. Third-Party Services

We share limited information with trusted third-party service providers who help us operate the App:

• Supabase — database and authentication hosting. Your profile and training data are stored on Supabase's secure infrastructure.
• Anthropic (Claude AI) — program generation and coaching responses. When you generate a program or message the AI coach, your profile and workout context are sent to Anthropic's API. Anthropic does not train models on this data.
• Apple Sign-In / Google Sign-In — authentication only. We receive your verified email address and name; Apple and Google do not receive your training data.
• Stripe — payment processing. Stripe handles all card details directly; we only receive transaction confirmations.
• Apple App Store — app distribution, crash reporting, and optional analytics (if you consent).

We do not sell your personal information to anyone.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your account and training data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from the App's profile screen. Deletion is immediate and irreversible — your profile, programs, workout logs, and all associated data are permanently removed from our systems.

5. Guest Mode

If you use the App without creating an account, your assessment answers and generated program are stored only on your device. If you later create an account, we will offer to transfer this data to your account. If you clear the App or uninstall it, guest data is lost.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you.
• Correct or update your information through the App's profile settings.
• Delete your account and all associated data.
• Export your training data by contacting us at the email below.

7. Children's Privacy

HabBarGains is not intended for users under 17 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with their information, please contact us and we will delete it.

8. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (TLS) for all network traffic and row-level security on our database. However, no system is perfectly secure — we cannot guarantee that unauthorized access will never occur.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
